Sustainability
Let materia return to its true self.
At Vermat, sustainability is not a footnote in an annual report. It is the conviction etched into our name — Vero+ Materia— the very reason our brand exists. Decorative building materials should not be disposable accessories to architecture. They should be partners that share its life — and eventually, return to their origin.
Our innovation campuses live by this belief. From raw material sourcing to manufacturing, every step is guided by environmental responsibility and measured against internationally recognized eco-certifications.
Circularity
Keep materials in the loop.
We design from day one for a second life.
- Recycled content first: Our aluminum series prioritizes post-consumer recycled content. Production offcuts are remelted and re-extruded — not landfilled.
- Closed-loop finishing: Stainless steel PVD lines operate with closed-loop bath management. Pre-coating wastewater is treated and reused. Heavy metals: zero discharge.
- Designed for disassembly: Our unitized façade systems use sliding anchor connections. At end of life, aluminum, glass, and stainless steel separate cleanly — no composite waste.

Traceability
We know the forest behind every board, and the mountain behind every slab.
Responsible sourcing starts at the origin.
Transparent supply chain: All key raw material suppliers sign the Vermat Code of Conduct and undergo regular social compliance audits.
Forest-friendly: Our wood-grain transfer and tech-veneer panels prioritize FSC®-certified or equivalent sustainable sources. Domestic alternative supply regions follow the same chain-of-custody traceability.
Healthy materials: Adhesives across our panel lines are formaldehyde-free. VOC emissions meet the strictest international standards, with on-site monitoring linked directly to local environmental authorities.

Lower Carbon
Lighter footprint, longer journey.
From production to delivery, we continuously reduce carbon per unit.
Carbon management: We track Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions consistently, and publish an annual Sustainability Note with progress data and forward targets.
Green energy: Our manufacturing bases are equipped with distributed rooftop photovoltaic systems and waste-heat recovery, effectively lowering production-phase emissions.
Low-carbon logistics: Sea freight is our default shipping method — significantly reducing carbon compared to air transport.

People
Great products start with great work.
We believe product quality ultimately returns to the people who make it. The care invested in them shows in every detail.
Fair labor: Our supply chain operates in alignment with SA8000 labor standards, with regular on-site visits and audits.
Skills: We provide ongoing training for frontline technicians — ensuring craft knowledge is passed down and quality remains traceable.
Community: We participate in local design education and vocational training programs, supporting the next generation of industry talent.
From production to delivery, we continuously reduce carbon per unit.
