Glass
Clarity engineered. Performance defined.
Glass is the transparent skin that defines a building’s character — mediating between light, energy, and perception. At Vermat, we engineer architectural glass systems that elevate this delicate membrane into a high-performance, multi-functional interface. From ultra-clear structural glazing and thermally efficient insulated units to decorative fritted panels and certified fire-resistant glass, our portfolio responds to every challenge — solar control, acoustic comfort, safety, and sustainability — without ever compromising on visual purity. Backed by automated fabrication lines, rigorous testing, and global certifications, Vermat delivers glass solutions that transform the way architecture meets the environment, pane by pane.

Technology
Precision. Clarity. Protection.
From nano-scale Low-E coatings and hermetically sealed gas-filled cavities, to laminated safety composites, digitally printed ceramics, fire-rated integrity, and precision-formed complex geometries — our glass systems fuse thermal efficiency, acoustic comfort, structural protection, and aesthetic freedom into enduring architectural solutions that perform as beautifully as they look, decade after decade.

Low-E Coatings
Nano-scale metallic or metallic oxide layers deposited on glass surfaces achieve selective solar spectrum transmission — high visible light transmittance with infrared heat reflection. Hard coatings (online pyrolysis) offer robust durability, while soft coatings (offline magnetron sputtering) deliver superior thermal performance, enabling U-values as low as 0.8 W/(㎡·K). This is the cornerstone of energy-efficient glazing.
Insulated Sealing & Gas Filling
A dual-seal construction — primary butyl seal combined with secondary silicone or polysulfide seal — together with desiccant-filled spacers ensures a permanently dry cavity. Inert gas fills such as argon or krypton, combined with warm-edge spacers (Swisspacer®, Technoform®), significantly reduce edge thermal bridging and condensation risk, delivering a service life exceeding 20 years.
Laminated Safety & Multi-Functional Composites
Multiple glass panes are bonded under heat and pressure with PVB, EVA, or SGP interlayers. Shattered fragments remain adhered, providing impact resistance, burglar resistance (RC2/RC3), and blast mitigation. Interlayers can integrate acoustic dampening (up to 45 dB noise reduction), coloured films, digital prints, or switchable PDLC films — combining safety, acoustics, decoration, and privacy in a single product.
Digital Ceramic Printing & Fritting
Ceramic inks are applied by digital jetting or screen printing and permanently fused to the glass surface through high-temperature sintering. Print resolution reaches 1440 dpi, with UV-stable, weather-resistant finishes that never fade. Ideal for large-scale façade graphics, branding elements, wayfinding signage, and interior decorative glass.
Fire-Rated Glass
Achieved through monolithic potassium-cesium chemical tempering or composite fire-resistant interlayers containing intumescent materials, providing 30- to 120-minute fire integrity. Under high heat, the clear intumescent layer expands to form an opaque insulating shield, blocking flames and radiant heat while satisfying EW (fire and heat shielding) and EI (integrity plus insulation) classifications. Compatible with steel and aluminium framing.
Precision Fabrication & Complex Forming
CNC cutting, water jet machining, and laser engraving enable complex geometries and perforation patterns. Hot and cold bending techniques produce curved, double-curved, and free-form glass panels. Edge grinding and polishing achieve dimensional tolerances of ±0.5 mm, supporting extra-large panels (up to 3300 × 6000 mm) and seamless joint installation.
Performance
Performance measured. Comfort delivered.
Every glass unit is engineered to balance thermal comfort, acoustic serenity, structural safety, and enduring clarity.
Thermal Insulation
With advanced warm-edge spacers, gas filling, and Low-E coatings, our IGUs achieve U-values ≤ 0.8 W/(㎡·K), significantly reducing HVAC loads and enabling Passive House compliance.
Acoustic Control
Laminated and asymmetric IGU configurations reduce external noise by up to 45 dB, creating serene interiors in dense urban settings.
Safety & Security
Tempered and laminated glass meet impact-resistance standards, with options for burglar resistance (RC2/RC3) and blast mitigation.
Durability & UV Protection
All coatings and laminates block over 99% of UV radiation, preventing interior fading. Dual-seal IGU construction ensures gas retention and moisture resistance for 20+ years.
Fire Resistance
Fire-rated glass provides crucial compartmentation, containing flames, smoke, and radiant heat while maintaining transparency for evacuation visibility.
