Permanently fused. Infinitely designed.
Vermat Silkscreen Printed Glass transforms glass into a durable, high-resolution canvas through the precise application of ceramic inks, which are then permanently fused into the glass surface at tempering temperatures (above 600°C). The result is a scratch-proof, weather-resistant, and UV-stable decorative or functional layer that becomes an inseparable part of the glass itself. Available across our full range — clear, ultra-clear, tinted, and Low-E substrates, and combinable with toughened, laminated, or insulated units — Vermat printed glass opens a world of colour, pattern, transparency gradation, and brand expression for spandrels, façades, partitions, signage, and interior features.

Key Features & Customization
Unlimited Design Freedom
From standard dot and stripe patterns to full-colour corporate logos, architectural graphics, and photorealistic imagery, Vermat’s silkscreen process supports single- and multi-colour printing with precise registration. Opacity can be tuned from subtle translucent frosts to solid opaque coverage, allowing control over light transmission, privacy, and solar shading.
Permanent Ceramic Fusing
Unlike applied films or coatings, the ceramic ink is vitrified into the glass surface during the tempering process. It will not peel, fade, scratch, or delaminate — delivering a permanent decorative solution that endures for the lifetime of the building.
Exceptional Durability & Weather Resistance
The fused ceramic surface resists moisture, chemicals, acid rain, salt spray, and UV radiation without degradation. It meets the most demanding exterior application requirements, including spandrel glass in all climate zones, with zero maintenance beyond normal cleaning.
Compatible with All Safety Glass Configurations
Silkscreen printing can be applied to clear float, ultra-clear low-iron, tinted, and Low-E coated glass, and subsequently processed into toughened, heat-strengthened, laminated, or insulated units — ensuring full compliance with safety, thermal, and acoustic standards.
Functional Solar & Light Control
By selecting ink colours and coverage percentages, designers can achieve a balance between visible light transmittance and solar heat gain, contributing to building energy efficiency while creating a distinctive façade identity.
Precision & Colour Consistency
Vermat’s automated silkscreen lines ensure uniform ink deposition, sharp edge definition, and consistent colour across panels — from small samples to large-scale production runs of thousands of square metres. Custom RAL, Pantone, or sample-matched colours are available.
Performance & Durability
- Adhesion: Ceramic ink fully vitrified, no peel-off per ASTM D3359 / cross-cut test
- Weather Resistance: Passes 1000+ hours QUV accelerated weathering (ASTM G154), no colour shift or gloss loss
- Chemical Resistance: Resistant to common cleaning agents, acids, and alkalis (ASTM C724)
- Safety Compliance: Can be supplied as toughened (EN 12150, GB 15763.2) or laminated (EN 14449, GB 15763.3) safety glass
- UV Stability: No fading or yellowing of the ceramic colour under prolonged UV exposure
- Fire Performance: Non-combustible surface; can be integrated into fire-rated assemblies
